This Limited Edition Riesling GG trocken, VDP.GROSSE LAGE®, comes from a south-facing slope in close proximity to Oestrich. The soil is composed of humus-rich and sometimes slightly clayey loess loam, intermixed with pebbly deposits. This Riesling offers a play of aromas with length and substance, along with wonderful notes of peach that add to its full-bodied flavor. It is a wine that is sure to delight your palate, whether enjoyed on its own or paired with a delicious meal.
This wine has received numerous accolades, including 90 points from the VINUM Wineguide 2021, Gold at the VINUM Riesling Champion 2021, Gold at the Decanter World Wine Award 2021, and more. Gault&Millau 2021 describes it as having a “fantastic structure,” while Selection Das Genussmagazin has awarded it 3 stars, a “very good” rating.
VDP.GROSSE LAGE® is the exclusive designation for Germany’s finest vineyards, where the best wines are grown. These wines impress with their individuality, expressing their unique terroir. They also have a remarkable ageing potential, making them some of the most sought-after wines in the world. Each parcel is precisely defined, and only physiologically ripe grapes are hand-selected for harvest. These dry wines are known as VDP.GROSSES GEWÄCHS®.
In addition to the regular VDP quality control, wines from VDP.GROSSE LAGEN® undergo an additional level of scrutiny. The quality-focused work in the vineyard, especially the yield level, is monitored throughout the entire growing season and before harvest. The wines are also tested by a review board before and after bottling to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.
August Eser Winery in Oestrich-Winkel, Rheingau, is a family-run winery with a rich history dating back to 1759. Led by Désirée Eser, they produce exceptional wines from 11 hectares of vineyards across 17 plots, including prestigious sites like Oestrich Lenchen and Winkel Jesuitengarten. With a focus on Riesling (95%) and Spätburgunder, they practice environmentally-friendly viticulture, ensuring low yields and preserving soil fertility.
The hand-picked grapes undergo meticulous sorting before fermentation in wooden barrels. August Eser offers a diverse range of Rieslings, including Kabinetts and noble sweet Auslese, as well as harmonious Spätburgunders.
Highly regarded by experts, they have received outstanding ratings from Gault Millau WineGuide and Wein-Plus, and are recommended by the Eichelmann guide with three stars.

He explores different media and contexts and reconfigures a space generating a vibrant and lively atmosphere. With his layered and collage-resemble compositions, he aims to find the perfect balance between space, colors, shapes and typography assembled into one harmonouis composition.
Korma works with printing techniques and also creates work in public urban spaces. His work is assembled by abstract shapes, a bold color palette and typographic elements. He studied at the Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art in Israel, Tel Aviv. Check-out his website for more works:
